Making our platform accessible to everyone
Last Updated: 4 November 2025
Quick summary of our accessibility commitment:
At Bagdock, we believe that everyone should have equal access to our storage booking platform, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use. We are committed to providing an inclusive digital experience that empowers all users to find, book, and manage storage with ease and dignity.
Accessibility is not just a legal requirement - it's a core value. We recognise that approximately 1 in 5 people in the UK have a disability, and many more experience temporary or situational limitations. By designing for accessibility, we create a better experience for everyone.
This Accessibility Statement outlines our efforts to ensure Bagdock is accessible to people with diverse abilities, including those who:
Our Goal: To meet or exceed Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and provide an excellent user experience for all customers and storage partners.
We aim to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, an internationally recognised standard developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 is organised around four principles:
Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive. This includes providing text alternatives for images, captions for videos, and ensuring content is distinguishable.
User interface components and navigation must be operable. This includes making all functionality available from a keyboard, giving users enough time to complete tasks, and helping users navigate and find content.
Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable. This includes making text readable and predictable, and helping users avoid and correct mistakes.
Content must be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies. This includes using valid HTML and ARIA attributes.
We comply with the UK Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018. We regularly review our platform against these requirements.
We conduct regular accessibility audits using:
Tested with: JAWS (Windows), NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)

For the best accessibility experience, we recommend keeping your browser and assistive technologies up to date.
Bagdock integrates with third-party services to provide essential functionality (payment processing, mapping, analytics). While we strive to ensure these integrations are accessible, we do not have direct control over the accessibility of third-party content.
Our payment processing is handled by trusted, PCI-compliant providers who maintain their own accessibility standards. If you experience difficulty with payment forms, please contact us for assistance.
We provide text-based alternatives to map interfaces, including searchable lists of storage locations with full address details and distance information.
Storage partners provide facility descriptions, images, and other content. We provide guidelines to partners on creating accessible content, but cannot guarantee the accessibility of all partner-generated content. If you need assistance accessing partner content, please contact us.
We are committed to transparency about areas where we're still improving. The following known limitations are being actively addressed:
